Students from the Oeiras International School visit RV Mário Ruivo

On May 25, 2023, 24 students from Oeiras International School, visited the research vessel (RV) Mário Ruivo.

The visit took place within the scope of the subject of Physics and gave the students the opportunity to learn about the research vessel, in its various technical and operational components, and how this platform contributes to the scientific studies and ocean monitoring programs carried out by the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere, I.P. (IPMA, I.P.).

The visit was made by the team from the Research Vessels and Ocean Observatories Group (NNIO) of IPMA, I.P. with the support of the crew and the Port of Lisbon.
