RV Mário Ruivo receives the visit of 5th grade students from Catarina de Bragança School.

On April 5, 2022, the research vessel (RV) Mário Ruivo received aboard 21 students from the 4^th grade from Catarina Bragança school in Sintra, accompanied by 2 teachers.

The guided tour to the RV Mário Ruivo was supported by the crew, and the team of the Research Vessels and Observatories Group (NNIO) of IPMA made a brief session on the importance of research vessels in the study of the ocean and the creation of scientific knowledge.

The visit was organized by IPMA with the important support of Lisbon’s Naval Base.
