Traineess from FOR-MAR Practical Machinist 2nd Class action visits RV Mário Ruivo.

FOR-MAR is currently taking place in the Lisbon, the Practical Machinist 2^nd Class action for career progression of professional maritime machinists.

The trainees participating in this action, visited the research vessel (RV) Mário Ruivo in order to observe the equipment on board, the starting and stopping of the main engine and other operations of control and management of propulsion systems, as well as other electrical systems.

The visit was organized by IPMA, with the essential support of the crew of the RV Mário Ruivo and also with the support of the Base Naval de Lisboa.
