Students from Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal on board of the research vessel Mário Ruivo

On December 13, 2021, the research vessel (RV) Mário Ruivo received on board the visit of 40 students of the 1st year of the Degree in Environmental and Marine Technologies of the Setúbal School of Technology from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

The guided tour to the RV Mário Ruivo had the support of the crew and the team of the Research Vessels and Observatories Unit (NNIO) of IPMA, which explained the importance of research vessels in the study of the ocean and the generation of scientific knowledge. The visit was organized by IPMA with the support of the Lisbon Naval Base.
