On November 30, 2022, the research vessel (RV) Mário Ruivo received on board the visit of students from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

On November 30, 2022 we received aboard the research vessel (RV) Mário Ruivo 35 students of the 1st year of the graduate degree in Environmental and Marine Technologies of the Setúbal School of Technology from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.
The visit took place within the scope of the Oceanography curricular unit and gave the students the opportunity to learn about the research vessel, in its various technical and operational components, and how this platform contributes to the scientific studies and ocean monitoring programs carried out by IPMA.
The team from IPMA’s Research Vessels and Observatories Group (NNIO) had the help of the crew and the support of the Lisbon Naval Base.
