Minister of the Sea visits the research vessel Mário Ruivo

The Minister of the Sea, Ricardo Serrão Santos, accompanied by the Norwegian Ambassador, Tove Bruvik Westberg, visited the RV Mário Ruivo.

The RV Mário Ruivo was acquired by Portugal and equipped under the attributions of IPMA by the EEA Grants programme, a multiannual financial mechanism, promoted by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The Minister of the Sea and the Norwegian Ambassador were received by the President of IPMA, Miguel Miranda, who welcomed them before visiting the ship.
