International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems – IMDIS 2024

The International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems (IMDIS), organised by the Institute of Marine Research, took place in Bergen between 27 and 29 May.

Tanya Silveira participated in the meeting with a poster presenting the WEAREATLANTIC digital platform. The data platform being developed by IPMA will serve not only as a data repository, but also as a metadata catalogue and access point for information on the Atlantic, contributing to the development of technological, scientific, economic and literacy activities linked to the sea.

The WEAREATLANTIC digital platform is an infrastructure created to centralize and make available marine data on the Atlantic basin, developed as part of the PDP2 project: Atlantic Observatory – Data and Monitoring Infrastructure, funded by the EEA Grants Blue Growth programme.
