Students from E2O Lisbon visit RV Mário Ruivo

On January 24, 2023 we received aboard the NI Mário Ruivo, 13 students and 5 teachers and technicians from the Escola de Segunda Oportunidade (E2O) of Lisbon.

On January 24, 2023, 13 students, accompanied by 5 teachers and technicians from the Escola de Segunda Oportunidade (E2O) in Lisbon, came to Lisbon Naval Base, in Alfeite, to visit the research vessel (RV) Mário Ruivo.
The visit was guided by IPMA’s Research Vessels and Observatories group with the support of the crew. Students learned about the main activities and the role of research vessels on oceanographic studies and the main characteristics of the NI Mário Ruivo.
The visit was organized by IPMA with the support of the Naval Base of Lisbon.
